The Third Collections of Compilation of Tang Dynasty's Epitaph Dispersed in Luoyang describes 357 pieces of scattered Tang epitaphs unearthed in Luoyang and its surrounding areas since 2000,most of which are new documents of the Tang Dynasty that have not been published.Their corpus,historical materials,materials and calligraphy value are very prominent,and they are reliable and simultaneous materials for studying the language and history of the Tang Dynasty.Most of the editions of the book are clear,and the overall level of interpretation and sentence reading is high.Compared with the rubbings,there are still many omissions in its recording and sentence reading,which is not conducive to the scientific and effective use of materials.In this paper,11 typical cases are selected for classification and textual research,such as incomplete characters,similar characters,and classical characters,so as to correct the errors in the original records and restore the original appearance of the literature as much as possible,so as to better play the academic value and research value of this batch of new materials.
