Research Progress on the Genomic Structure and Function of Canine Adenovirus
Canine adenovirus disease(CAD)is a viral infectious disease caused by canine adenovirus(CAV)CAD is highly harmful to the dog-breeding industry. The CAV is divided into two serotypes:CAV-1 and CAV-2.The morphological structure and genome composition of these two virus types are highly similar, and antigenicity is closely related. However, there are obvious differences in disease phenotype, histiocytes and hemagglutination characteristics produced by these two virus types in dogs.We compared and analyzed the genome structure and function of the proteins that CAV1 and CAV2 encode. In this way,we provided a reference for study of the biological characteristics and pathogenicity differences of CAV-1 and CAV-2,and establishment of differential diagnostic methods.
