Receptors Screening Methods and Research Progress of Bunyaviruses in Mammalian Infections
Bunyaviralcs of public health importance is an order of segmented negative-strand RNA viruses.containing more than 500 virus types Members of Bunyavirales can cause serious diseases in humans and other mammals due to their strong infectivity. The invasion mechanism of most bunyaviruses is not known,so targeted drugs and vaccines are lacking.A receptor study is a key step when analyzing the mechanism of virus infection and development of new drugs.Co-immunoprecipitation and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)-CRISPR-associated protein 9(Cas9)have contributed to receptor screening for bunyaviruses.Integration of screening methods with identification of receptors is a rational approach for the development of new drugs. We describe the important receptors for the families Phenuiviridae,Arenaviridae,Hantaviridae,Peribunyaviridae and Nairoviridae to provide ideas for the receptor research of bunyaviruses.
