猪圆环病毒 3型(Porcine circovirus 3,PCV3)是与猪皮炎和肾病综合征(Porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome,PDNS)、生殖衰竭和多系统炎症等临床症状相关的病原体,对养猪业构成严重威胁.然而,一直以来,因PCV3分离较为困难等原因,其发病和致病机制目前仍不清楚.近年来,一些研究者成功地利用反向遗传操作系统拯救出PCV3,并初步揭示了其生物学特性.尽管如此,PCV3的致病机制仍未被完全阐明.本文综述了反向遗传技术在PCV3研究中的应用和进展,旨在为深入研究PCV3的致病机制、防控和疫苗研发等提供研究参考和新的思路.
Research Progress on the Reverse Genetics of Porcine Circovirus 3
Porcine circovirus 3(PCV3)is a causative agent of swine disease associated with clinical symptoms such as porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome(PDNS),reproductive failure,and multi-systemic inflammation,posing a serious threat to the swine industry.However,isolation of PCV3 has been a challenge,leading to its pathogenesis remains unclear.In recent years,reverse genetics systems have successfully been employed by some researchers and PCV3 was rescued,with which the biological characteristics of the virus was elucidated.Nevertheless,the pathogenic mechanism of PCV3 remains poorly understood.This article reviews the applications and advances of reverse genetics technology in PCV3 research,providing a research foundation and new insights for further investigations on the pathogenesis,disease prevention and control,and vaccine development of PCV3.
