From 2019 to 2023,Shanxi Provincial Sericulture Research Institute conducted a joint evalu-ation on the seventh batch of new mulberry varieties in the Northern Sericulture Research Collabora-tive Zone.The varieties evaluated in this batch exhibited early bud break,high germination rates,dense internodes,and extensive leaf yield.Furthermore,these varieties demonstrated efficient biolog-ical photon conversion rates and were moderately resistant to southern blight,resulting in healthy silkworms.The varieties noted for their high leaf yields included Canghai 7,Shaan 908,and Jinxuan 10;the varieties with high fruit yields were Shaan 908 and Jinxuan 10.Canghai 7 was identified as having strong resistance,while Jinxuan 10 showed outstanding performance in silkworm rearing.
