Mountain apricot was a native tree species in the Yellow River Basin,with a wide range of uses and high economic value.It also was a high-quality economic forest tree species for greening barren mountains.The climate in Qingyang,Gansu was arid and the soil was fragmented.Therefore,it was advisable to choose the mountain apricot as a tree species for afforestation,which can not only create economic income,but also maintain soil and water,and improve the quality of the ecological environment.This article explores the key points of mountain apricot seedling cultivation and orchard building techniques applicable to Qingyang,in order to provide reference opinions for apricot seedling cultivation and cultivation in similar areas.
