Research on the Impact and Export Potential of Trade Facilitation on China's Exports——Based on RCEP partner countries
this paper proposes a measurement framework of trade facilitation, using principal component analysis to measure the extent of trade facilitation of RCEP member countries, and panel data of China and RCEP partners from 2015 to 2019 to empirically analyze the impact of trade facilitation on China's export trade flow and its export potential on the basis of the extended gravity model. The research shows that the extent of trade facilitation of RCEP member countries is at ordinary level of convenience, and trade facilitation plays the most significant role in promoting China's export trade flow.Potential analysis shows that improving the extent of trade facilitation in RCEP partners can increase exports, and the largest increase in export volume is from countries where trade facilitation is at the upper-middle level.
