Research on the Impact of Rural E-commerce Development on Farmers'Income
Based on the survey questionnaires of 2,969 farmers in Chenzhou City,Hunan Province,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of rural e-commerce development on farmers'income by using OLS model and PSM model.The research shows that rural e-commerce development significantly improves farmers'non-agricultural operating income,and the conclusion remains valid after model conversion.In addition,this study also found that rural e-commerce can promote the growth of rural households'income by strengthening information access,reducing transaction costs and enhancing financial support.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the healthy development of rural e-commerce,which is of great significance to increase farmers'income and achieve common prosperity.
