Study on the Characteristics and Trade Potential of China's High-Tech Product Exports to ASEAN
Based on the analysis of the characteristics of China's export of high-tech products to ASEAN,this paper uses the stochastic frontier Gravity model to study the potential of China's export of high-tech products to ASEAN.It is concluded that China has significant trade potential with six countries:Vietnam,Singapore,Malaysia,Thailand,Indonesia,and the Philippines,and less trade potential to three countries:Brunei,Cambodia,and Myanmar is relatively small.For developed countries with significant trade potential,we will enhance the competitiveness of our high-tech products in these markets through high-level talent cultivation,expanded investment,and research and development of more advanced high-tech products.Developing countries with significant trade potential can further expand their markets through direct investment and production of products that meet the level of social development.For countries with low trade potential,we can gradually expand their markets by increasing investment and cooperation,developing marketable products.
