From a cross-cultural perspective,taking the Asian Winter Games as an opportunity,through the practical exploration of the integration of Heilongjiang ice and snow culture and college English teaching,in-depth exploration of cultural elements contained in language teaching can enrich the teaching content and cultural connotation of English courses,enhance the shaping and guidance of students;value literacy,and help students strengthen their local cultural confidence and improve their cross-cultural communication ability.In order to promote the soft power of traditional Chinese culture,Heilongjiang ice and snow culture is told in English in foreign exchanges.
