Overseas Chinese communities,scattered across nearly 200 countries and regions worldwide,have unique advantages in the progress of Chinese modernization.They serve as conduits for communication,collaboration,and exchange between China and the rest of the world through various means and forms.Their irreplaceable strengths lie in promoting,shaping,and safeguarding China's national image and the construction of modern Chinese civilization,presenting a trustworthy,endearing,and respectable image of China to the world.To fully leverage the unique advantages of overseas Chinese communities and create a favorable environment for Chinese path to modernization,it is necessary to plan proactively and rally the support of overseas Chinese to establish mechanisms that harness their capabilities in supporting China's modernization efforts,including mechanisms for intellectual support,effective publicity,and self development.
