The construction of a beautiful and harmonious countryside that is desirable to live and work in is a major policy innovation of the CPC Central Committee in the field of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.It is a significant measure for the comprehensive implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,as well as a manifestation of the development process of agricultural and rural modernization,aiming to achieve a coordinated development of material civilization and spiritual civilization in rural society.Viewing from the perspective of historical materialism,the construction of a beautiful and harmonious countryside that is desirable to live and work in primarily encompasses three levels of meaning:its value orientation is to satisfy the human needs for survival,enjoyment and development;the shared vision is to construct interdependent social relations from the dimensions of subjectivity,sociality and development of human life;and the practical orientation is to create a rural governance community in the process of unifying personal principles with social principles and personal values with social values,thereby achieving shared development.
