Study on the Influence of Disc Cantilever Diameter on the Uplift Failure Mechanism of NT-CEP Pile Group
Disc cantilever diameter is the main factor influencing the uplift of new type concrete expanded pile(Hereinafter refened tuas NT-CEP pile),in this paper,six groups of four pile models with different disc can-tilever diameters are established by using ANSYS finite element simulation analysis method,the influence of dif-ferent disc cantilever diameters on the pull-out bearing capacity and pile group effect of NT-CEP piles is stud-ied,the pull-out bearing capacity of single pile,double pile and four pile is compared according to the previous research results of single and double pile,the influence of pile group effect on uplift bearing capacity is ana-lyzed,and the failure mechanism of soil around pile group is revealed.The following conclusions are obtained from the simulation results:the larger the disc cantilever diameter,the stronger the uplift bearing capacity of pile group,but the increase of uplift bearing capacity is not linear.When the disc cantilever diameter is greater than 1.75 times the pile diameter,the bearing capacity of pile group is not significantly improved,and the ratio of disc cantilever diameter to pile diameter should be between 1.5 times and 1.75 times.This conclusion lays a theoreti-cal foundation for NT-CEP pile group in engineering design and application.
