Preliminary Study on the Evolution of Urban Spatial Pattern in Jilin Region during the Liao and Jin Dynasties
During the Liao and Jin dynasties,the Northeast region entered a historical development peak,with Jilin being politically active and economically prosperous,in the critical period of national integration and cultur-al exchange.In terms of urban layout,it fully embodies the attributes of Jilin region as a traffic artery,economic and cultural exchange center.This article focuses on the remains and sites of ancient cities during the Liao and Jin dynasties as the major research objects,based on field surveys,historical data is integrated and analyzed to sort out the distribution of urban relics.Research methods such as analyzing documents data,historical geography research,and spatial analysis are used to analyze and summarize the evolutionary path of the urban spatial pat-tern in the Jilin region during the Liao and Jin dynasties,and to compare the differences in urban patterns in dif-ferent historical periods,in order to preliminarily reveal the evolution law of urban spatial pattern during the Liao Jin period in Jilin region.
