Research on the Effect of Ceramsite Properties and Pretreatment on the Performance of Ceramsite Concrete
Ceramsite concrete has the advantages of low apparent density,good insulation and sound insulation performance,and is widely used in various construction projects.As coarse aggregate in concrete,different types of ceramsite,properties of ceramsite and pretreatment methods have different effects on the performance of concrete.This article analyzes the changes of compressive strength,apparent density and slump of ceramsite concrete under the influence of different variable factors from three aspects of ceramsite type,particle size composition and prewetting time,the results show that the various test results of shale ceramsite concrete are better;the particle size of ceramsite has a significant impact on the properties of concrete;at the same time,the mechanical proper-ties and working properties of ceramsite concrete are improved after the prewetting treatment,which should be considered for different working conditions in actual engineering use.
