Activation and Utilization Strategies and Implementation Paths of Traditional Residential Buildings in Severe Cold Areas:Taking Traditional Villages in the Changbai Mountain Area as an Example
The traditional residential buildings in China's cold areas(such as Changbai Mountain area)have u-nique characteristics,but they face many challenges in the activation and utilization,such as high idle rate,high input cost,and difficult activation and utilization.This paper uses literature analysis and case study methods to comprehensively sort out the type distribution and architectural characteristics of traditional dwellings in Jilin Province and summarize the current situation.By summarizing and extracting the experience of typical cases in Changbai Mountain area,it is proposed that the activation and utilization of traditional dwellings should be made from the key aspects of system,capital,technology and talents,and promote the protection and utilization and technological update with systematic strategies,so as to achieve a win-win situation between protection and uti-lization,and provide reference experience for the same type of cold areas.
