Research on Durability Test of Rubber Particle Composite Modified Asphalt Pavement on Highways
In order to ensure the reasonable application of rubber particle composite modified asphalt in pavement construction,a durability test study on highway rubber particle composite modified asphalt pavement is proposed. In this paper, based on a certain highway pavement construction project, the raw materials of rubber particle composite modified asphalt are prepared from a performance perspective, and composite modified asphalt with rubber particle content of 0%,10%,and 20%are prepared, and a 100 m pavement durability test is carried out.The test results show that the double logarithmic fitting curve parameters of rubber particle composite modified asphalt with a 10%usage ratio have larger K values and smaller n values, indicating better fatigue resistance. The splitting tensile strength reached 5 MPa,and the failure stiffness modulus was 2 500 MPa,and the breaking ten-sile strain is 3 600 MPa.The residual stability of the specimen with 10%addition is improved by about 12.14%compared to the specimen with 0%addition.When the mixing ratio increased to 20%,the residual stability de-creased by 6.06%,indicating that the water stability performance was better when 10%was added.Ultimately,it is concluded that a 10%proportion of rubber particle composite modified asphalt has the best durability and can ensure road quality and safety.
