Research on the Impact of New Construction Projects on the Safety Performance of Adjacent Existing Tunnels
With the continuous development of subway and rail transit engineering, the impact of new construction on the mechanical properties of existing tunnel structures has become a hot topic of concern. In this paper,by us-ing the finite element software, based on Drucker-Prager yield criterion, the three-dimensional solid simulation model was established, analyzed the new construction on the mechanical properties of adjacent existing tunnels. The results indicate that the excavation of foundation pits and the load of new construction have a certain impact on the stress and deformation of tunnel structures, and excavation of foundation pits has a more significant effect on structural deformation and lining tensile stress, with maximum increases of 176%and 262%,respectively.Ex-cavation of foundation pits is carried out under the most unfavorable conditions, therefore it is necessary to strengthen monitoring measures. Before and after the construction of new projects, the stress and deformation of tunnel structures should be within the allowable range of materials, and the surrounding rock should be in a sta-ble state to ensure controllable risks. The three-dimensional finite element method was used to analyze the changes in stress and displacement of tunnels during the construction process of new construction projects,evalu-ate the safety performance of tunnel structures, this research method can provide a reference for such structures.
