A Brief Review of Mr.Bu Ping's Early Academic Research(1978-2004)
Mr.Bu ping's academic career can be roughly divided into two periods:from 1978 to 2004,a total of 26 years is the early stage,and from 2004 to 2016,a total of 12 years is the later stage.In his early years,Mr.Bu ping mainly engaged in the research of historical theory,the history of Sino-Russian relations,the local history of northeast China,as well as the history of Ja-pan's invasion of China and the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.After his promotion from the position of Director at the Historical Institute of Heilongjiang Provincial Academy of Social Sciences to Deputy Dean,his research focus gradually shifted towards various aspects of the history of Japan's invasion of China and the history of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggres-sion.In this field,he also explored several directions,such as Japan's war responsibility and historical view,and Japan's chemi-cal warfare.Mr.Bu Ping has struck deep roots in these fields,exerting a broad academic influence in the academic circles at home and abroad.He has accumulated a profound academic foundation and left valuable methodological experience for the future research of the history of Japan's invasion of China and the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
