The dark figure of corruption crimes refers to the number of corruption cases that have not been officially discovered.Its existence not only makes it difficult to collect and evaluate crime data,but also damages the formation of the"Afraid、Unable、Unwilling to corruption"mechanism,which is very harmful.From the occurrence of a corruption case to the official notification and investigation,the following related factors,such as anomie of power operation,weak constraint and supervision,inadequate repor-ting mechanisms,ineffective investigation and punishment measures,and lack of technological empowerment,may lead to the dark figure of corruption crimes.Comprehensive policy implementation should be carried out to reduce the"dark figure of corruption"and address both the symptoms and the causes of corruption crimes.
