The Consensus between"Cathay"and"Otherness"in Yongsan Era (2600 B.C.—1900 B.C.)
Yongsan Era (2600 BC—1900 BC) was an important period for the formation of cultural communities between the"Cathay"and"Otherness"( referring to non-Cathaysian ethnic groups.However,other ethnic groups integrated into Greater China subsequently,and"Otherness"in the following text also refers to the same,author's note) ethnic groups in China.This period marks the transition from"pre-China"to"original China"and"Most like China in the Xia Dynasty"to"earliest China"in terms of the formation of the political entity cultural communities of various Chinese ethnic groups and Cathaysian culture.This is obliged to deliberate from a different perspective,and transcend the influence of the central plains center or even a specific archaeological cultural region to observe the significance and role of the"consensus"between Cathay and China.An overall grasp of the cultural interaction and evolution of the great cultural circle in China and even East Asia from 2400 BC to the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties may be conducive to explain how"early Cathay"communicated and interacted with the"Otherness"of other ethnic groups,and how the political,economic and cultural archaeological phenomenon related"community"was gradually formed.
