Study on the in vitro antibacterial activity of Tanreqing combined with antibiotics against carbapenem resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Objective:To study the in vitro antibacterial effect of Tanreqing combined with antibiotics on carbapenem resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Method:46 strains of carbapenem resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa were isolated and collected from clinical specimens. The minimum inhibitory concentrations(MIC)of Tanreqing,Ceftadine, and Cefoperazone Sulbactam Sodium were measured using a micro broth dilution drug sensitivity test. The antibacterial effect of Tanreqing combined with Cefoperazone and Cefoperazone Sulbactam Sodium was measured using a micro chessboard dilution drug sensitivity test. The antibacterial effect of the combined medication was determined based on the calculated FIC value.Result:The combination of Tanreqing and Cefotaxime showed an additive effect of 61.4%and an unrelated effect of 25.7%,while the combination of Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium showed an additive effect of 55.7%and an unrelated effect of 35.7%.Conclusion:The combination of Tan Re Qing and Cefotaxime,Cefoperazone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium has good antibacterial effects.
