Feasibility study on optimization of traditional allocation mode for tipplers
In the first and second raw material areas of sintered branch of Iron-making Plant of Wuhan Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.,four tipplers are used in the traditional allocation mode.When using a train locomotive to push the counterweight vehicle into the tippler,we need manual hook removal operation,which means insufficiency of safety interlock protection,low automation level,and low work efficiency.This article studies the intelligent transformation of the allocation mode of the tippler.The method is to replace the train locomotive pushing and manual hook removal operation by adding mechanized and intelligent equipment such as car pullers,automatic hook picking robots,empty car pushers.In this way,safety risk is reduced effectively,work efficiency is improved,and operating cost is reduced.
