Production practice of hot delivery and hot charging of stainless steel continuous casting slab
The production practice of the hot delivery and hot charging technology applied in the 1 150 mm production line of the hot rolling plant of Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co.,Ltd.in the production of 200 series stainless steel(Cr-Mn austenite stainless steel)was introduced.Through measures as improving the quality of continuous casting billets,putting into use the smelting and rolling plan management system,studying the thermoplastic properties of continuous casting billets,optimizing the hot rolling heating process,arranging on-site production plans,and organizing coordination,significant effects have been achieved in improving product quality of 200 series stainless steel,shortening product production process flow,energy conservation,and consumption reduction.This has laid a foundation for further expanding the hot delivery and hot charging process in the 1 780 mm production line of Baosteel Desheng hot rolling plant in the future.
