The influence of corrosion inhibitors and impurity ions in acid solution on the pickling effect of strip steel
By comparing the pickled iron loss rates of hot-rolled strip steel in acid solutions with different compositions,as well as the pickled iron loss rates of different steel grades in acid solutions with different mass fractions of corrosion inhibitors, the influence of corrosion inhibitors and impurity ions Cu2+in acid solutions on the pickling effect of hot-rolled strip steel is clarified. The factors that affect the pickled iron loss rate of hot-rolled strip steel in acid solution include steel composition, the mass fraction of the corrosion inhibitor, and acid solution composition. There are differences in surface color and microstructure of hot-rolled strip steel after being pickled when subjected to diverse acid solutions. The impurity ions Cu2+in the acid solution can significantly affect the pickling effect. The corrosion inhibitor and Cu2+have a synergistic effect on inhibiting the pickled steel loss rate. Therefore, during waste acid recycling processes,it is necessary to control the concentration of impurity ions Cu2+to ensure optimal pickling performance.
