Analysis of metamerism and its evaluation methods for color-coated plates
The concept of metamerism in color-coated plates was presented,and the essential reasons and product manufacturing reasons that contribute to this phenomenon were discussed.Three methods for evaluating the metamerism of the color-coated plates were proposed:the template visual method,the spectral reflectance curve matching method,and the metamerism index method.Additionally,the impact of color difference meters,the calculation formula of color difference and the selection of standard light source pair on the measurement results of the metamerism index in color-coated plates were further analyzed.
