TC4返回料单次电子束冷床炉熔炼厚扁锭工艺研究

由于电子束冷床炉熔炼真空度高,熔炼铸锭的厚度大、截面积大,TC4返回料的形状尺寸不规则布料难度大、成分不均匀,导致TC4钛合金中的Al元素控制困难.研究了 TC4返回料在专业化处理后,与海绵钛、Al-V中间合金及Al豆(返回料占原材料总量的50%)在3 150 kW电子束冷床炉的单次熔炼工艺,结果表明:熔炼过程中Al元素挥发明显,挥发量为13%~24%(原料与铸锭中铝质量分数之差/原料中铝质量分数)、V元素的质量分数有略微上升.将原料中的Al、V质量分数分别添加到7.5%和4%,并通过合理布料,同时将熔炼速度控制在600 kg/h、炉内真空度为(5~8)×10-3 Torr(1 Torr=133.32 Pa),由此所获得的TC4钛合金化学成分均匀性好,成分符合GB/T 3620.1-2016标准的要求.
Research on the process of melting large thickness slabs in a single electron beam cold hearth furnace with TC4 return material
Due to the high vacuum degree of the electron beam cold hearth furnace melting,the large thickness and cross-sectional area of the melted slab,and the irregular shape and size of TC4 return material,it is difficult to control the Al element in TC4 titanium alloy.The study investigates the single melting process of TC4 return material after specialized treatment,along with sponge titanium,Al-V intermediate alloy,and Al beans(return material accounts for 50%of the total raw material)in a 3 150 kW electron beam cold hearth furnace.The results show that during the melting process,the volatilization of Al element in TC4 titanium alloy was significant(13%-24%),and there was a slight increase in V element mass fraction.By adding the mass fractions of the Al element and V element in the raw materials to 7.5%and 4%respectively,and controlling the melting speed at 600 kg/h and the vacuum degree inside the furnace at(5-8)× 10-3 Torr(1 Torr=133.32 Pa),the obtained TC4 titanium alloy has good uniformity of the chemical composition,and the composition meets the requirements of GB/T 3620.1-2016 standard.
