Exploration on the Practice Teaching of Access Database Course Based on OBE Background
In order to strengthen college students'computer application skills and cultivate their ability to use appropri-ate methods and tools to solve practical problems,based on a deep understanding of OBE(Outcome-Based Educa-tion)philosophy,we have carried out innovative teaching reforms in the compulsory course of Access database appli-cation within general education.Not only has the curriculum teaching objective been newly designed,but also stan-dards for assessing learning outcomes have been established to ensure the effectiveness of the teaching reform.Taking the Access database application course as an example,this paper delves into the design of evaluation rubrics for re-search reports and comprehensive assignments,detailing the important role these rubrics play in enhancing student learning outcomes and evaluating teaching results.These evaluation rubrics not only guide student learning but also provide teachers with effective feedback on teaching.Through practical teaching applications,it has been found that evaluation rubrics significantly support the optimization of course instruction and the enhancement of educational ob-jectives.In short,by reforming teaching methods and introducing evaluation rubrics,we have successfully improved college students'computer application skills and helped them better utilize technology and tools to solve practical problems.These teaching innovations not only significantly enhance the quality of course instruction but also lay a solid foundation for students'long-term academic progress and career development.
