Improvement and Practical Innovation of Python Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on Project-Oriented
As Python programming increasingly becomes a significant driver for technological development in the era of big data, this paper addresses the issue of disconnection between theory and practical application in Python teach-ing at higher vocational colleges by proposing a project-oriented approach to enhance Python teaching and promote practical innovation.By introducing industry projects,it tightly integrates students'learning processes with actual project development.Firstly, the teaching process is reset to focus on practical project instruction, reinforcing the prac-tical teaching component;secondly, teaching objectives, curriculum content, and evaluation systems are restructured to better align with industry demands and student developmental needs;finally, comparing data on students'project completion rates and participation in academic competitions before and after the reform reveals a significant improve-ment in students'technical application abilities and learning enthusiasm. As such, the project-oriented teaching en-ables students to deepen their learning and strengthen the application of advanced Python features while solving spe-cific problems. This method effectively enhances teaching effectiveness in higher vocational colleges, not only provid-ing new perspectives and methods for vocational education but also offering feasibility for teaching reforms in other disciplines.
