Sense of Home and Global Imagination:The International Dissemination Path of Chinese Scientific Fiction Films
In recent years,China has seen a steady stream of excellent scientific fiction films,with these works not only earning critical acclaim and high box office revenues domestically,but also accumulating valuable experience for the international distribution of Chinese films in overseas markets.This article,following an analysis of the industry foundation for the international dissemination of Chinese scientific fiction films and the conceptual"Chinese approach"to scientific fiction,argues that regardless of variations in specific forms of expression,Chinese scientific fiction films have the potential to activate shared cultural experiences among global audiences by virtue of their high-quality audiovisual presentation,a dream-crafting mechanism rooted in realism,rigorous scientific logic,and value articulation that accommodates a wide range of perspectives.Consequently,this can lead to a favorable outcome in international dissemination.
