The Intimate Experience:A Study of Users'New Form Online Audiovisual Behavior from the Perspective of Mobile Aesthetics
Currently, the new forms of online audiovisual programs are flourishing, leading to the emergence of a variety of user behaviors that differ from the past.Given that traditional aesthetics struggle to explain these behaviors, this study establishes a mobile aesthetics paradigm, following the development trajectory of digital aesthetics. This paradigm encompasses disciplines such as communication studies, psychology, and sociology, and uses the core concept of"intimacy"within this framework to analyze the user experience of emerging forms. The study reveals that this experience unfolds in two stages:first, users develop a sense of intimacy through embodied perceptions of touch, sight, and sound, and then they establish intimate relationships through cognitive feedback in the form of likes, comments, follows, and shares.Notably, this study proposes a novel methodology for analyzing emerging forms, which is to observe new phenomena through the lens of mobile aesthetics.
