International Publishing Practices of Cross-Sectoral Cooperation and Its Implications:Taking Germany,France,Italy and Spain as Examples
Since 2003,when the strategy of"going global"was proposed,China's international publishing has made great breakthroughs in terms of quantity and quality.In the process of promoting publishing industry"going global",on the one hand,we should plow into the production of high-quality content,innovative communication and marketing methods to enhance the core competitiveness of publishing;on the other hand,we should pay attention to the process of opening up the international market of other publishing powerhouses,so as to mirror and reflect on the practice of China's publishing industry"going global".This paper examines the overall overview of book publishing in Germany,France,Italy and Spain,and finds that they attach great importance to cross-sectoral cooperation in international publishing,which highlights the establishment of international publishing institutions,policy making for international publishing,project support for international publishing,copyright protection for international publishing,and etc..In view of this,an in-depth analysis of its practice of cross-sectoral cooperation in the setting up of governmental institutions and policy formulation will help provide insights for China's foreign publishing and promote the high-quality development of China's publishing industry.
