On the Excavation and Protection of"Six Skills"and"Two Crossings"of Nanzhao Sports
Nanzhao was a local ethnic regime that ruled the southwest frontier for more than 500 years.Through field investigation and historical data collection,this paper explores and sorts out the sports form in the ancient history of Nanzhao.In order to win the war and safeguard the sovereignty,the ancient rulers of Nanzhao took the initiative to use the local traditional sports of Bai nationality to carry out military training,and produced the"six arts"boxing,swordplay,fencing,shooting,riding,elephant,and"two ferry"dragon boat race,swimming and other ancient military sports with Bai nationality characteristics.
