On the Wushu and Dance:Techniques of Achang Ethnic Group
The traditional Wushu of the Achang ethnic group include various forms such as boxing, spring and autumn swordsmanship, and cudgel, but currently they are only passed down among the local people.Despite the increasing communication between ethnic minorities and the outside world, the development of traditional Wushu still faces limitations. The Achang ethnic group has a profound and distinct traditional culture and developed folk handicrafts, among which the forging technique of the Husa knife is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.Husa Dao not only affects the economic and social life of the Achang ethnic group, but also carries rich cultural connotations and national wisdom. However, influenced by social and cultural changes, the inheritance of Husa Dao and its forging techniques has gradually weakened. Therefore, the Achang ethnic group needs to take conscious action to protect this important cultural heritage.
