As early as 2005,Dong wrestling was included in the first batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage list in Guizhou Province,and won the gold medal for the performance of the 6th National Minority Traditional Sports Games in the following year.The intangible heritage attribute and performance value of wrestling of the Dong nationality are bound to have inextricable links with sports aesthetics.This paper takes sports aesthetics as the guiding theory,and uses the methods of literature,field investigation,video observation,and logical analysis as the basic methods to analyze the aesthetic characteristics of the wrestling of the Dong nationality in Liping County,Guizhou Province,with a view to adding the theoretical color of sports aesthetics of intangible cultural heritage and further enriching the theoretical system of sports aesthetics of traditional national sports.Through research,it.is found that wrestling of Dong nationality has aesthetic characteristics such as competitive beauty,technical beauty,strength beauty,appreciation beauty and behavior beauty.
