On the Compilation of Wushu Literature in the Ming Dynasty and Its Cultural Contributions
In the Ming Dynasty, the country was in a state of chaos and the fiefdoms were on the rise. This led to the emergence of a special situation where literati practiced Wushu and Wushuists were proficient in writing. It was precisely because of this that a large number of Wushu literature were written and published in the Ming Dynasty. The article uses the method of literature review to classify Ming Dynasty Wushu literature into military books, monographs, collections, book categories, and miscellaneous art and literature categories according to the library classification system. And summarize the cultural contributions of Ming Dynasty Wushu literature from it: creating the momentum, spectrum, and technique of boxing equipment; Discussing military skills through the art of war; There is a phenomenon of "interoperability" between Wushu literature.
