The Influence of Sword Dance in the Tang Dynasty on the Development of Wushu in later Generations
The Tang Dynasty was a period of great prosperity in China's feudal socio-economic and cultural development. The fusion of sword and dance is an important embodiment of the diversification of Wushu functions in the Tang Dynasty. This paper uses documentary method, logical analysis method, comparative analysis method and other research methods to sort out the existence of sword dance in the Tang Dynasty, and analyzes and discusses its impact on the existence and development of Wushu in later generations. The study believes that sword dance is the product of multicultural integration, with diverse forms of expression and diversified social functions, and has a profound impact on the development of Wushu in later generations. It provides a theoretical basis for further exploring the value function of traditional Chinese Wushu in a specific historical period.
