Research Progress on Tai Chi Intervention in Musculoskeletal Aging in the Elderly
Purpose: To explore the effect of Tai Chi exercise on delaying muscle and bone health in the elderly. Method: By searching websites such as CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, and pubmed, we used Tai Chi, osteoarthritis of the knee, sarcopenia, falls, and osteoporosis as keywords to conduct literature review, collection, and analysis.Results: An overview of the types and manifestations of osteoporosis, sarcopenia, osteoarthritis of the knee, and falls, as well as the latest progress of Tai Chi in preventing musculoskeletal diseases in the elderly were reviewed. It was concluded that Tai Chi can delay the aging process. Aging of human muscles and bones. Conclusion: Tai Chi exercise deserves to be more promoted among the elderly. It is hoped that Tai Chi exercise can delay musculoskeletal aging in the elderly and provide more theoretical basis for future research.
