The article uses research methods such as literature review and logical analysis to explore the generation dimensions and path construction of traditional ethnic sports in China in the new development stage. It is believed that entering the new development stage, traditional ethnic sports are an important means of widely carrying out national fitness activities and a key medium for young people to participate in school sports, It is a powerful measure to promote the comprehensive development of mass sports and competitive sports, and a source of vitality to accelerate the construction of a sports powerhouse. The problems of driving force for development, imbalance, harmony between humans and nature, internal and external linkage, and social fairness and justice are practical problems that urgently need to be solved in the new development stage of traditional ethnic sports. In the new stage of development, it is necessary to implement the new development concept and lead the rejuvenation of traditional ethnic sports with advanced concepts.
