In order to further understand the current dynamics of sports intangible cultural heritage research in China, the academic journal database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) was used as a search engine, and the sports intangible heritage related literature of Core Journals of Peking University and CSSCI journals were used as research objects, analyzed and mApped with the help of CiteSpace visualization tools, to summarize the recent two decades (2003-2022) of China's sports intangible The authors and institutions of sports intangible cultural heritage in China in the last two decades were analyzed and mApped with the help of CiteSpace visualization tool to summarize the research areas, research hotspots and research frontiers through keyword analysis. The following research results were obtained: the author groups of sports non-heritage research in China are not closely connected with institutions; the main research themes of sports non-heritage research in China are inheritance, conservation, sports culture, traditional Wushus, etc.; research on school inheritance and living inheritance are not yet mature and may become a hot spot for research.
