In order to explore the historical problems and the possibility of Wushu entering the Olympic Games, this paper studies the historical problems and the possibility of Wushu entering the Olympic Games through the methods of literature, case analysis and comparative study, taking the successful cases of Japan and South Korea as the object of comparison, this paper makes a comparative analysis on the key factors of new projects entering the Olympic Games from the aspects of project situation, Olympic Games policy and national background, etc. , the results show that the interpretation and expression of Wushu in the development of the Olympic games are not clear, and the Wushu message can not be clearly conveyed to the world through the words, the contents and forms of Wushu itself are complex and huge, and do not have the competitiveness of new events. Secondly, the change of Olympic Games policy and leaders has become the main reason for the failure of Wushu in Beijing Olympic Games, but the existing"Olympic Agenda 2020" policy gives the host country the right to choose to enter the Olympic Games independently, which in theory also gives Wushu the hope in the policy; Ultimately, the country of the event is an important support for the entry of the new event into the Olympic Games, and at present, the Chinese national strength is fully capable of achieving the entry of the Wushuevent into the Olympic Games in the 2036.
