Culture, Fitness and Education: An Exploration of the Inner Logic of Wushu Development
Using research methods such as literature review and field investigation, this study examines the problems in the current development of Wushu from three perspectives: culture, exercise and education. The research has found that the cultural ideas in Wushu conflict with the current mainstream ideas, leading to the development of Wushu being incompatible with the current way of life; the audiences of Wushu exercise are variable, and modern fitness methods have a great impact on Wushu; there is a lack of Wushu education resources, the teaching levels of which are uneven, and some teaching contents and methods have problems.
