A Study on the Opportunities, Challenges, and Paths of Wushu Entering Schools under the Background of the "Double Reduction" Policy
As the dissemination and inheritance of traditional Chinese culture is becoming more and more obvious in primary and secondary schools, the "Double Reduction" policy further promotes the introduction of Wushu courses into schools, in order to promote the construction of special courses in primary and secondary schools and the comprehensive development of primary and secondary students. The purpose of this project is to explore the opportunities, dilemmas and paths of bringing Wushu programmes into schools. The study found that the "Double Reduction" policy provides time and space for wushu to be introduced into schools, and at the same time helps to pass on and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enrich the content of physical education programmes in schools. However, there are also difficulties such as the lack of in-depth knowledge of wushu in schools, insufficient space for the survival of wushu courses, and insufficient teaching resources for wushu, etc. To address these problems, we need to actively implement the fundamental task of promoting morality and education, promoting the cultural dissemination of wushu, and allowing wushu to be inherited through a little bit of culture into the campus.
