Traditional Sports Space Distribution and Feature Analysis of Jiangsu Province Based on ArcGis
Spatial distribution and feature analysis of traditional sports in Jiangsu Province were conducted using ArcGIS 10.8 software. A total of 1620 traditional sports items were compiled through consulting local chronicles and relevant materials in Jiangsu Province, and their spatial information was input into the ArcGIS 10.8 software for spatial analysis. The results showed that in terms of geographical space, traditional sports items in the southern region of Jiangsu Province were particularly abundant. From the perspective of north-south distribution, traditional sports items were concentrated in the southern part of Jiangsu, followed by the northern part, and the central region had the least. From the perspective of east-west distribution, the central region had significantly more traditional sports items than the western and eastern regions. From a provincial perspective, the southern region of Jiangsu Province had the most traditional sports types, showing a diverse coexistence. At the macro level, the development of traditional sports items in Jiangsu Province was unbalanced among each region, showing a multi-step distribution.
