The Influence of Long-term Taijiquan Practice on Lower Limb Muscle Strength in the Elderly
This study was conducted to explore the effects of long-term Tai chi practice on lower limb muscle strength in the elderly. Through comprehensive analysis of relevant studies,we concluded that long-term tai chi practice has a positive impact on the lower limb muscle strength of the elderly. Tai chi can not only enhance the muscle strength of the lower limbs,but also improve balance and coordination,and improve the performance of functional tasks in the elderly in daily life. Therefore,we encourage the elderly to actively participate in Tai chi exercises to promote their physical health and exercise ability.
