Wushu is the treasure of Chinese traditional culture. It is a traditional national sport with both internal and external cultivation. The essential attribute of Wushu is fighting,and the Wushu lacking fighting attribute are martial dance,sword dance,Taijiquan dance,Taijiquan exercise,but not Wushu. Under the background of cultural confidence,Wushu skills and cultural return are the needs of The Times and the inevitable trend of Wushu development,and "searching for the root inside" is the common vision of all Wushu people. This paper uses the methods of expert interview,literature and logical analysis to explore the attributes of Wushu and cultural regression under the background of cultural confidence,providing a theoretical basis for the sustainable development of Wushu.
