As an important part of China's excellent traditional culture,traditional ethnic sports need to be given more attention in physical education classroom teaching,which is of great significance for inheriting excellent culture and cultivating national spirit. The article starts from two dimensions:an overview of traditional ethnic sports,the significance of integrating them into physical education classroom teaching,and the practical aspect of collecting diverse and interesting traditional ethnic sports projects. The aim is to promote the faster and better integration of traditional ethnic sports into physical education classroom teaching,enhance students' skills in traditional sports projects,strengthen students' sense of ethnic cultural identity,and enable students to become inheritors and successors of traditional ethnic sports.
