The 20th Report of the Communist Party of China called for refining and displaying the spiritual symbols and cultural essence of Chinese civilization,telling China's stories well and spreading China's voice well. The spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of sports intangible cultural heritage along the northern section of the Grand Canal are discussed by comprehensively using GIS spatial analysis and geographical concentration index models,aiming at promoting the Grand Canal culture to enter a new era and providing decision-making significance and reference value. The research shows that the sports intangible cultural heritages along the northern section of the Grand Canal are mainly wushu items,which are concentrated and distributed under the influence of geographical environment,historical culture,social economy and other factors. Through the point density,it is found that the sports intangible cultural heritage resources along the northern section of the Grand Canal are rich,but the distribution is uneven and different.
