By using the methods of literature,field investigation and expert interview,this paper analyzes the value and predicament of Miao wushu in the west Hunan Province,and puts forward the corresponding breakthrough path.The study holds that the value of Xiangxi Miao Wushu entering the campus is as follows:strengthening the body;Improving physical and mental health;Build a strong will quality.Xiangxi Miao Wushu into the campus is faced with:wushu professional teacher shortage;Single teaching content and mode;Policy interpretation and leadership attention is not enough,foreign sports culture impact and other problems.Therefore,countermeasures should be taken:strengthen the training of wushu teachers,optimize the teachers;Enriching P.E.curriculum resources and adopting diversified teaching methods;Strengthen the policy interpretation,improve the degree of attention to wushu;Activate Xiangxi Miao wushu spirit,enhance cultural confidence.
