As an excellent representative of traditional national sports,wushu embodies the basic spirit of Chinese culture and contains rich cultural connotation.Colleges and universities should attach importance to its curriculum construction,inheritance and development.Based on the basic characteristics and main values of Wushu culture,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the lack of"traditional culture"elements in Wushu courses of modern colleges and universities by using literature research,teaching experience summary and logical reasoning analysis.The research points out that there are two outstanding problems in Wushu education in reality and three suggestions are put forward.
